接續卡卡老師文法教學的Part 1如何辨認名詞之後，

本篇 進入到名詞單元的Part 2 Common nouns and Proper Nouns

學習目標:

學會辨認並使用一般名詞與專有名詞在句子中。

很多學生抄寫單字時，習慣把第一個字母大寫，本課可以讓學生學會判斷單字何時應該大寫

所需教具:

1.紙張

2.鉛筆

3.學習單

4..Scavenger Hunt單字卡片事先貼在校園內或是教室內

教學流程:

闡釋今日教學目標為Common Nouns and Proper Nouns，

今日要學會辨認哪些需要大寫

A.Introduction導入:  5 mins

利用Odd One Out讓學生察覺出單字字首的大寫

a.老師展示Odd one  Out活動圖片(如上圖)，問問學生:

Look at the  pictures,   what  do you   see?

Which picture  is  different from the other  three?

b.老師說明答案是左下角Dora的原因，因為她有名字

We know   that her name is  Dora. And the other three, we don’t know their names.

We only know they are girls.

c. 進行第二題，讓學生想一想，Which one is odd?

The first one is only a supermarket picture.

The other three  are popular  supermarkets in Taiwan. 

B.發展Development: 25 mins 

1. 解釋何謂proper nouns專有名詞

Q and A:

T: What are common nouns?

S: person, place, and things

T: There are two kinds of nouns. The other one is proper nouns.

2. PPT教學:

利用PPT讓學生熟悉proper nouns的定義以及書寫上的觀注點

c. Team Work: Scavenger Hunt

1.把學生分成小組，Caroline通常把學生分成四人一組

2.請每小組找尋教室內外所藏的閃示卡(共20個字)，完成學習單，交回給老師就算完成任務

ps: 可以視班級人數，決定卡片列印的大小與份數

3. 教師檢視學生學習單結果，給予學生回饋，獎勵正確度高或是認真的小組
