What Do You Want to Be職業單元教學流程分享

每年教到這個職業單元時,正巧都碰到期中考,所以幾乎都是匆匆上完就結束了。

這學期因為五年級的課放假放了兩次,大家都上不到第三單元,所以期中考後就慢慢來"玩"這個單元了。

這課的單字只有八個,其實有幾個很常見,對學生算是容易
reporter, housewife. police officer, doctor, nurse, teacher, cook, singer

本課句型:
What do you want to be?

教學流程:

1. Presentation:(約10 mins)

a. 利用Youtube上Career Day這首歌(2:55),讓學生討論出在這首歌中出現的職業單字。

b. 帶入句子What does he/ she do?把出現的單字套入句型中練習。


第二階段: Practice(40mins)

a.將單字拆解成音節,帶入音節作練習 (5 mins)

b.Work in pairs, students spell words to each other. (5 mins)

c. PPT What does he/ she do? He/ She is a _________. (5 mins)融入一點國際教育

d. 韻文影片Chant: What do you want to be in the future? I want to be a/an __________________. (25 mins)


d-1 Work in a group and discuss the answers.

d-2 Work in a group again and discuss the answers.

d-4 Review the words and say the chant together.


 第三階段. Production: ( 30 mins)
a.What do you want to be in the future? Answer students questions about jobs. (5 mins)

b. Draw a picture. (10 mins)





c. Present the chant in the front of the class. (10 mins)

d. Spelling the words and do a quiz.

第四階段:深度閱讀
利用Scholastic網站上所找到的短篇文章
