When I Was Little繪本引導過去式造句

過去式是閱讀中常常會遇到的一種時態,Caroline近來教六年級過去式試著用繪本導入,發現美國女演員 Jamie Lee Curtis的這本繪本創作 When I Was Little竟然意料之外受到六年級喜愛。

本以為學生會覺得這本書很幼稚,後來發現這本書對於12歲的小六生而言,竟然有回憶"童年"的意外效果,因此順勢引導他們造句,句子都很有意思,1表現出小六生真實的心聲,因此紀錄下來與大家分享。


目標:
1.了解過去簡單式的使用
2.運用過去簡單式造出簡單正確的句子


教具:
1.繪本When I Was Little
來自Amazon
2.When I Was Little學習單

步驟:
1.繪本引導Before Reading:5 mins
What is something you couldn't do before and you can do now? (ex: when you were 2 years old)
紀錄學生的答案
有的學生說 I ate paper, now I eat real food.
I wore diapers, now I wear pants.

2.繪本閱讀Read the book: 5 mins

3.繪本討論Discuss the book: 10 mins

What are the simple past tense verbs listed in the book?
Ans: was, could, cried, had, played.....

What are some other verbs you know?
討論出來的動詞,以過去式呈現在黑板上

4.師生共作Sentence making:10 mins
When I was little, i couldn't walk. Now I can run.
When I was little, I couldn't talk. Now I can write.
When I was little, I watched cartoons. Now I watch movies.
提醒學生容易犯錯的地方

5.獨立寫作Sentence making: 10 mins
請學生自行回憶童年造句在練習簿上,給學生十分鐘完成,下次上課繳交後,訂正錯誤後,再回家把正確句子謄寫在學習單上。
